NOTSTOCK is stoked to
have James Flames as its guest. James works and resides within the
beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, NC, but was born and bred
in Brooklyn, NY. His artwork has been featured in galleries near and far
— from London to L.A., NY to NC. He creates rock posters for some of
the top touring bands out on the road today — posters which he screen
prints by hand in his little studio tucked away in the woods.
James will give a presentation of his work on Friday (Sept. 13) at 9 a.m. in Aleshire Theatre, Hartnett Hall.
James will also screen print live all day Thursday through Saturday (Sept. 12-14) in the Beaver Dam in the Student Center.
His work will be for sale at the event and on display at 62 Doors Gallery & Studios, downtown Minot, where the NOTSTOCK closing
reception will be held Saturday (Sept. 14) at 7 p.m.
Free and open to the public.
